Group Homes are the place for troubled teens. They offer a lot to them. At present there is not specific accepted definition in the field for group homes. It is also known as group residences. As the term indicates that there are many different types of group living structures for children who indicate the criminal behavior. It is helpful place in making the positive impact on the distressed youth. In the group home the teenager show their qualities and performance.

Treatment process:

The Group Homes provides the proper therapy to struggling minor, what is needed for him/her. In the center the adolescents are educated properly. The charge of the treatment process may be different. They have three different types of group care for a normal child such as:

- Foster Care
- Group Homes
- Child Care Centers

Most Group Homes are of residential in nature. The professional give individual attention on each struggling juvenile. In the residential environment the distressed youth can be removed from all negative influences. They don’t assume the group therapy and the twelve step program. They nurture the bothered pubescent. The teens who were addicted in the past removes the addiction and anti social life.

Cost:

The cost of the Group Home is quite expensive. Much of the cost depends upon the type of treatment and intensity of problem that the child is facing. Some Group Homes take the charges as $ 30000 to $ 50000 per year. It may vary. There are some insurance that help in the treatment. Some time there are state funded programs that charge differ cost.
